Mutter Paneer...

Mutter Paneer


Ingredients

  • Paneer 200 gms

  • Green peas frozen 2.5 bowl

  • 2 medium sized onions fine chopped

  • 2 tomatos fine chopped or tomato pulp 1 bowl

  • curry leaves,muster seeds, Jira

  • coriendair powder 2 sp

  • dry red chilli 2 pcs

  • 1/2 spoon turmeric powder

  • 1 spoon red chilli powder

  • Salt as per taste

  • 1 spoon garam masala or curry masala (MDH/ EVEREST preferred brand)

  • 5-6 spoons of vegitable/corn oil

  • Green coriander leaves for garnishing

  • 1 spoon Ginger-garlic paste(I prefer fresh garlic and ginger crushed!)

  • Black Peeper seeds 4-5

  • Cardamom 2-3





  • Method: (Execution)

  • Get Paneer slice and put it in water and keep in Microwave for 4 mins to make it soft for cutting into smaller cubes

  • Cut the paneer small cubes consider the mutter size so it should not be much bigger :) It's not the paneer tikka masala!

  • Heat the pan on medium flame for 3 mins

  • Heat oil for 1 min and then add muster seeds, Jira, curry leaves, Hing, red dry chilli and stir well and add turmeric powder

  • Add onions,ginger,garlic(if you are using paste then add it after 1-2 mins), black peeper seeds into it and fry them untill they became golden

  • Add Tomatos into it and mix well. Add salt, red chilli powder, pinch of sugar,cardamom,coriendair powder, if available cashu nuts crushed mix all the items well and let it cook for 2-3 mins

  • Add the paneer cubes into it and let it cook for 5-6 mins

  • Add mutter into it and cook at medium flame for 15 mins

  • Depending on how much thick gravey you want you can pour water into it.

  • The dish is ready to serve with chopped green coriander leaves garnishing

  • You can add chopped onion rings too.
