Mutter Paneer
Ingredients
Paneer 200 gmsGreen peas frozen 2.5 bowl2 medium sized onions fine chopped2 tomatos fine chopped or tomato pulp 1 bowlcurry leaves,muster seeds, Jiracoriendair powder 2 spdry red chilli 2 pcs1/2 spoon turmeric powder1 spoon red chilli powderSalt as per taste1 spoon garam masala or curry masala (MDH/ EVEREST preferred brand)5-6 spoons of vegitable/corn oilGreen coriander leaves for garnishing1 spoon Ginger-garlic paste(I prefer fresh garlic and ginger crushed!)Black Peeper seeds 4-5Cardamom 2-3
Method: (Execution)
Get Paneer slice and put it in water and keep in Microwave for 4 mins to make it soft for cutting into smaller cubesCut the paneer small cubes consider the mutter size so it should not be much bigger :) It's not the paneer tikka masala!Heat the pan on medium flame for 3 minsHeat oil for 1 min and then add muster seeds, Jira, curry leaves, Hing, red dry chilli and stir well and add turmeric powderAdd onions,ginger,garlic(if you are using paste then add it after 1-2 mins), black peeper seeds into it and fry them untill they became goldenAdd Tomatos into it and mix well. Add salt, red chilli powder, pinch of sugar,cardamom,coriendair powder, if available cashu nuts crushed mix all the items well and let it cook for 2-3 minsAdd the paneer cubes into it and let it cook for 5-6 minsAdd mutter into it and cook at medium flame for 15 mins Depending on how much thick gravey you want you can pour water into it.The dish is ready to serve with chopped green coriander leaves garnishingYou can add chopped onion rings too.
